There’s still time to win a trip to Wales for your school.
Adventure learning charity, Wide Horizons, have extended the deadline for their new competition, Sharing Adventures, for primary and secondary schools to Friday 18 March. As part of the competition, two schools can win an adventurous residential visit to Wales worth over £10,000 to each school.
The charity is offering a free five-day residential Adventure Learning experience which will take place from 9-13 May 2016, where pupils will engage in a number of outdoor adventures including canoeing, gorge walking and rock climbing.
The residential split will be between Wide Horizons Bryntysilio Centre, set above the River Dee, and Wide Horizons Ty’n y Berth Centre, situated on the edge of the beautiful Snowdonia National Park.
To win the competition schools are asked to produce a one min video showing what they hope to achieve during the week and what they expect the impact of a week of adventure in Wales will have on them and their school.
The closing date to submit the video is Friday 18th March 2016 and the competition winner will be announced shortly after.
