This month saw the triumphant return of The Catford Canteen in its new home at the Broadway Theatre.
The pop-up restaurant originally launched in 2013 for six months and showcased some of London’s newest and most exciting chefs.
The eight-week run kicked off on Sunday 11 October with Inapikkle who cooked up a Barbadian treat. Head chef Karen Alleyne said: ‘We’re honoured to be relaunching. The Catford Canteen had a loyal following and its return has been long overdue and eagerly awaited. It’s sentimental for us too as, graduating from the Catford Broadway Market, we held our first supper club there. Back then we were serving just 15 guests, two years on we’re regularly serving over 100.’
